• Life Skills Training (LST) plays an integral part of Training and placement cell.
• Interview and Personality development skills to all the outgoing final year students.
• Organising Yearly Job Fair at the College Campus, Loyola College of Mettala
• Facilitating participation of our students in the Job fair conducted outside the College
• Coordinating training programmes with Placement cell of Periyar University
• Individual mentoring at the Department level through trained Professors in charge.
• Rendering support and guidance to alumni fraternity

ORIENTATION TO III YEAR STUDENTS ON JOB FAIR 2020

In order to prepare all the Final Year Students for their career development, an orientation programme was organized on 31.1.2020 at the New Auditorium, Loyola College, Mettala. The Heads of all the Departments made presentation about requirement on the part of students to get employed, once they complete their courses. The orientation was conducted with full support and encouragement of Rev. Dr. Boniface Jeyaraj SJ, Secretary, Rev. Dr. B. John Bosco SJ, Principal and Rev. Fr. Thangadurai SJ, Vice Principal, Loyola College, Mettala.

The meeting was concluded with the key note address by Rev. Fr. Dominic Jayakumar SJ, Campus Treasurer and Administrator. He shared some of the recent trends in employment sector, especially on the unemployment and underemployment. Fr. Treasurer also nudged on the students to come up to standards of the company's expectations and had asked the students to be skillful and resourceful. The orientation programme ended with a vote of thanks by Prof. Kannan Periyanayagam, Co-coordinator of Placement and training cell.
